Yes, I know most passwords save on a steam deck after you add them but there is always some reason to re-authenticate at some point. No there would never need play games via a remote session, the above is purely for ease of use. A physical keyboard has its uses but full remote access is way slicker. Keep your computer ON and make a successful connection, then shut down your computer (power off). Turn ON the Show offline computers option in Settings.

I know I could install 1Password on Deck I would not trust it for now and also I would still need to type the password as there is no biometrics.
